ARIA RPMs
This page was produced from the content of a mail sent by Tru Huynh to the ARIA discussion list.
ARIA rpms built for the CentOS-5 distribution of Linux are available at: ftp://ftp.pasteur.fr/pub/BIS/tru/Aria_on_CentOS-5
The directory content is:
-rw-r--r-- 1 tru Bis 1336 Nov 28 17:17 RPM-GPG-KEY-Aria
drwxr-xr-x 3 tru Bis 4096 Nov 28 17:04 RPMS
drwxr-xr-x 2 tru Bis 4096 Nov 30 10:52 SRPMS

-rw-r--r-- 1 tru Bis 434 Nov 30 14:43 readme.txt

Only the 32 bits rpms are there, with the corresponding src.rpm. All rpms are signed with this key:
ftp://ftp.pasteur.fr/pub/BIS/tru/Aria_on_CentOS-5/RPM-GPG-KEY-Aria
A minimal readme.txt is provided to use this repository.
<cut>
wget ftp://ftp.pasteur.fr/pub/BIS/tru/Aria_on_CentOS-5/aria.repo -O /etc/yum.repos.d/aria.repo
yum --enablerepo=aria install python-ScientificPython python-matplotlib python-numeric python-numpy tkinter tix tcl tk
</cut>
As usual, it's provided as is (might interfere with 3rd party repos). There is also a quick note on a vmware guest machines, if you don't run CentOS-5/i386 (vmware.txt).
If you don't want to re-install your desktop with CentOS-5, you can install the pre-built vmware guest at:
http://dev.centos.org/~tru/vmware/centos-5/CentOS-5_desktop.i386.zip
and add needed rpms from the aria.repo
see http://dev.centos.org/~tru/vmware/centos-5/changelog.txt
and http://dev.centos.org/~tru/vmware/readme.txt
for details on the vmware guest machines
